Enterprise Collaboration Tech Fest’s content curation process is unique – research was conducted via a series of roundtable discussions across Australia and NZ with 125 professionals representing 80+ companies. Participants included senior business and IT leaders responsible for driving collaboration within their organisations.
Our research also uncovered that in the last two years more data was produced globally than in all of history. The volume continues to grow exponentially resulting in massive economic and societal disruption. At the same time industries and governments are struggling to come to terms with the implications.
Fortune 500 and ASX 200 companies across all industries are asking, “How will data and technology impact our business, and what do we need to do about it?”
Technology is a double edged sword. On the one hand it’s opening new doors and creating entirely new business and economic platforms. On the other hand technology is upending traditional industries and business models. 52% of the Fortune 500 have disappeared since 2000. New data driven business and economic platforms are taking their place, with a “winner takes all” dynamic.
